The plane passengers were stunned when the pilot left her a scribbled note on brown paper napkins while he was at the airport. Steph Bohrer, 23, was sitting at a terminal table as the pilot “just put it down” and “just put it down” a brown paper dinner napkin next to a water bottle.
His hermit notes have been no secret for a long time, but the bowler, known for posting travel and lifestyle content, shared the notes on social media. Tykok received over 11 million views and 1.6 million likes in more than a day.
A note on the short, sweet napkin said, “I've seen the whole world, and you are the most beautiful woman of it.”
The pilot signed it with an unreadable signature.
However, the Arizona State graduate, who moved to Charleston, South Carolina after graduating from college, was unable to meet the pilot.
“I didn't even see his face,” Bowler captioned the 11-second Tiktok along with the audio of Taylor Swift's “Enchanting” .
Many of the comments were won by the pilot's sweet remarks. This also includes the official Tinder profile. “And what happened next?” the official wattpad posted a similar comment, but “Pls need to update the next chapter now.”
Another said: “If this girl believes in fairy tales, nothing wrong.”
However, others were skeptical of the pilot's true intentions. “He's probably married to five children,” one commenter suggested.
“He must be printing them in bulk,” another added.
“This is probably his go-to pickline in every city,” the third person said.
Even if the story could become a fairytale, the pilot leaves no contact information, and since her first post, Bowler has not revealed any updates to the mystery pilot.
However, happy airport endings are not unheard of. In 2020, one unknown flight attendant shared the story of the romance in a Reddit post, revealing that they met their husbands while they were both working.
She said: “I'm actually married to a pilot! I started working on the same day.
“In the beginning he was just a fellow worker, but for a few months he started working as a friend.
“The next day I woke up just realising I couldn't live my life without him.”
