With growing organic interest in Africa from Australia's travel trade and adventurers, specialist hotel and tourism agents, Perfections Group and Tanzanian Destination Management Company (DMC), Tanganyika Expeditions, Custom Safari Experience, Kilimanjaro Treks and Zanzibar St partnered with Australia to offer a new Zealand.
Founded in 1989, Tanganyika Expeditions has over 25 years of expertise in curating immersive travel across Tanzania and catering to travelers, small groups, tour series groups and incentives. With its robust safari vehicle fleet, private luxury accommodation and sophisticated technical resources, the company has set a benchmark for high-quality, reliable safari experiences in Tanzania.
Over the years, Tanganyika has established itself as a sustainable tourism leader with large investments in solar energy, stormwater collection and recycling. It is also the first DMC to offer the E-4X4 in Tanzania.
In partnership with Perfections Group, Tanganyika Expeditions hopes to strengthen the brand's presence and raise awareness of expert-led Safaris and Adventure Travel Offerings in the Australian market.
“Expanding to Australia is a natural next step for us,” says Guillaume Leabouteux, commercial director at Tangany Ca Expeditions.
“We have achieved success in other markets by partnering with representative companies such as The Perfections Group to help us understand the travel situation and effectively place our brands locally. Through this partnership, we are confident that demand for Tanzanian safari from Australia and New Zealand from Australia and New Zealand will continue to grow, with our dedicated partners and on the ground.”
With its international presence spanning South Africa, Australia and the UK, Perfections Group has over 25 years of experience in hotel and DMC representatives, sales and marketing.
The Australian division is led by Liam Oddy, a respected industry expert with over 20 years of expertise in the international market, and has played a key leadership role in the sales and marketing of well-known hospitality brands such as Sun International and Legacy Hotels & Resorts before moving to Australia.
Oddie said: “Living, working and traveling in both Africa and Australia, I understand the deep passion that Australians and New Zealanders have for authentic adventure experiences in Africa. In Tanzania, the appetites of African safari continue to grow. In Tanzania, the diversity of landscapes, wildlife and cultural experiences is second to none.
“Tanganyika Expeditions has a very reputation for offering unparalleled itineraries, lodges and services. Through this partnership, we look forward to introducing more travelers from the region to the wonders of Tanzania.”
