It is very welcoming for families with toilets, baby exchange facilities, parking, amenities for small children and beach cafes open daily from 9am to 4:30pm. The beach and cafe are also dog friendly.
Dogs are restricted on the main swimming beach between Groin 14A and 18 (front the beach hut), from mid-May to mid-September, but you can enjoy the entire beach throughout the year.
West Wittering is a hot spot for Watersports enthusiasts, and Windsurfing, Kitesurfing and Stand Up Padboarding are popular activities. Horse riding is also permitted at beaches at certain times of the year.
During school summer holidays and weekends, the parking lot can be very crowded, so visitors are advised to book in advance. But outside these peak times, the beaches provide a quiet place to relax and watch the waves.
Easthead, the west magician's dune system, is characterized by salt marsh and flowing tides.
From March to September, visitors can embark on Easthead and Elanore Circular Walk. This is a picturesque 4-mile route that takes about two hours to complete.
The trail through Chichester Harbor and the west Witterling Village features beautiful coastal trails, lush lanes and plenty of coffee shops and pubs to grab a bite.
