Travel Infleuncer Chelsea is well known for its Internet alias “Cheap Holiday Expert.” She is well known for her because she often shares top tips and tricks on how to make the most of her trip without breaking the bank.
In one video published on Instagram, she shared how to pack everything you need on a three-day holiday in a tiny shoulder bag from Uniqlo.
“I spent my days off in a Uniqlo bag, so let's recreate it today,” she said at the beginning of the video before diving into her top tricks.
Check them out below and try it out on your next holiday!
1. Use a vaccuum bag
The first thing she did was to choose her clothes for the three-day trip, including what she was about to wear on her travel day.
“So I have a skirt, a vest top, a negri and two pairs of socks. This represents two pairs of underwear,” she said. “I actually used one of these VAC bags for all of these bits. That's it! I made a three-day outfit with the clothes I wore on my travel days.”
She also utilized a denim jacket as she had two large inner pockets large enough for her cell phone, passport and tripod.
2. Mini toiletries
For toiletry items, she showed how she avoided having to bring big makeup and a big bottle of skincare, instead transferring most of her products to a small pot.
In total, she managed to stuff moisturize, cleanser, foundation, lip and cheek shades, eyebrow gel, mascara, comb, travel toothbrush, and some toothpaste. She put everything in a clear bag to prepare to take it out when she went through security.
3. Electronics
“The last thing I had to pack was my electronics,” she said. “This was a dangerous strategy, but I didn't take the adapter. I took a fully charged PowerBank with a USB-C cable.”
She then said she also packed a watch charger. And the last thing in her bag was her keys to her house.
“I think I packed this even better than last time. A moment of truth, will it zip up?” she asked before zipping the bag without any problems. “It's so easy! And that's how I was able to do all my holidays with my Uniqlo bag.”
