The cruising personality is brought to YouTube, sharing three gorgeous items that passengers often get for free.
Cruising is generally considered a way to go on holidays, especially as transportation, food, accommodation and entertainment are included in the price, but many tourists prefer to spend more on additional packages despite not knowing the free perks.
In Tourists take advantage of everything the cruise line has to offer, travel expert Ilana Schattauer from YouTube Channel Life has released some video discussing Free items can be emphasized that guests can use room service without extra charge.
She explained: “I think this is the ultimate luxury. I think it's something that's free on most cruise lines. Many people would charge around $5-8 (£4-£6) to provide room service a few years ago, as many cruise lines were used to charge nominal fees.
“But almost every cruise line still includes a free continental breakfast. Plus, there are still cruise lines such as free hot room service breakfasts and free room service meals and snacks during the day.”
While many cruise passengers think they'll be charged a horrible fee to get something to their cabin, most businesses offer free room service.
Passengers looking for a free VIP treatment often can deliver some breakfast staples to the door, especially cold items such as cereals, fruits and pastries.
Some cruise lines, such as Disney and Canard, also offer free room service for other meals.
Additionally, Irana suggested that cruise passengers also take advantage of fine dining such as steak and lobster, which can be used at the main restaurant at no additional charge.
She added: “The cruise includes meals when eating in the restaurant you enter or the main dining room. Despite changes in recent years, our experience still shows New York strip steak, prime ribs, beef wellington, shrimp and salmon on the dining menu at the main restaurant.
“And while many cruise lines abolished the free lobster tail meal a few years ago, I was surprised to see them still offering lobster tails (free) on a seven-night cruise.”
Finally, while almost all cruise lines charge an extra for alcoholic beverages, Irana noted that there are several opportunities for passengers to get free champagne.
She advised: “You can find free champagne or free sparkling wine at art auctions, so if you want to spend a few hours away from the sun during the day, you can head over there and get free champagne.
“There's also another time when you can get free champagne. That's the champagne waterfall that happens on a princess cruise on formal nights or captain's nights. Other cruise lines also have these special themed nights, and they might hand out free sparkling wine.”
