    South African Tourism Minister holds a meeting to highlight Africa 2025, the country's preparations for G20

    South Africa's Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille officially opened Meeting Africa 2025 at the Sandon Convention Centre in Johannesburg, highlighting the continent's prominence in the global event industry. She highlighted Africa's preparations to host major international gatherings, including the first G20 summit in African soil. Delire has positioned the summit as a key milestone in Africa's role in global business, tourism and economic leadership.

    To industry leaders and stakeholders, she highlighted the economic impact of the conference Africans and revealed that last year's event contributed roughly R420 million to South Africa's economy. With over 410 exhibitors from 27 African countries, the platform continues to drive investment, job creation and collaboration across the mouse industry. Delire reaffirmed South Africa's commitment to providing world-class events and positioned the continent as a leader in business tourism.
