Delta Air Lines defends the qualifications of pilots involved in the 4819 effort, erupting in flames following a violent landing in Toronto to combat “disinformation” about the accident.

“Endever Air and Delta are fixing disinformation on social media, including false and misleading claims about flight crews,” Atlanta Headquartered Carrier said on February 20th.

Delta says the crew on both flight decks are “qualified and the FAA is certified in their position.”

February 17th Accident – All 80 people on the local jet survived – followed the attention of North American flight citizens following a fatal collision between PSA airline MHIRJ CRJ700 and the US Army helicopter in Washington, DC This is the latest aviation safety incident to pull.

The CRJ900 captain involved in a fiery landing at Toronto Pearson International Airport was hired by Mesava Airlines in 2007. This is the “Ancestors of Endeavour Air” and serves both as captain and pilot training capabilities.

“The claim that he failed a training event is false,” the airline says. “The claim that he didn't flow into the position of Delta pilots due to a failed training session is also incorrect.”

The first mate was hired by Endeavor in January 2024, and her flight requirements “exceeded the minimum requirements set by US federal regulations,” Delta added. “The claim that she failed the training event is false.”

The Canada Road Safety Board (TSB) retrieved cockpit audio and flight data recorders from the CRJ900 and sent them to the lab for analysis. .
