Ahead of the highly anticipated third season of the hit television series White Lotus, fans of the show and fellow Sunseekers are seeking a Thai vacation.

According to travel experts at Sancerre, the Asian country serves as a backdrop for the new season and has become even more popular over the past year.

This is not the first time the HBO series appears to have impacted the travel and tourism industry. Just two months after the show's second season aired, interest in Italian holidays filmed in Sicily also reportedly increased.

Sunsail's base manager, renowned travel expert Ash Rodney has devoted years to discovering Thailand's best kept secrets. And now he is ready to share what kind of top spots should be on the holiday maker itinerary.

    Richelieu Lock

Thailand is known for being the top destination for underwater adventures in the world. If you are considering jumping into an entirely new territory, plunge into the crystal clear waters of Korachayai's submerged sculpture park.

Travel experts recommend the area for incredible underwater art, allowing you to see debris, coral reefs and rays up to 30 meters.

He states: “Underwater paradise is plagued by spectacular scenery and pristine coral reefs, but undoubtedly the most notable reason to place Richelle Lock at the top of the Holiday Bucket list is the presence of powerful whale sharks .”

    Bottle Beach, Ko Pha-ngan

One of the biggest reasons travel experts are drawn to Ko Pha-ngan's Bottle Beach is because of its privacy and quarantine. Surrounded by lush jungle, the beach is only accessible to visitors that can be considered boating or challenging trekking.

Hard to find places will maintain their quiet nature with fewer tourists and make them ideal for swimming and snorkeling in the turquoise waters. Bottle beaches of the world, away from the island's famous parties, have untouched sand and shallow water, and the perfect escape from fellow tourists.

    Krabi Islands

On the islands of Krabi, tropical flowers and rich jungles cover the spectacular limestone rocks, as seen in the White Lotus episode. Travel experts recommend this place for those who want to get closer to wildlife and become personal.

Notice the giant lizards, majestic birds and white-faced accessories. Or take a picture of a pristine beach, including the world-famous Raylei Beach.

    Ancient fishing village

The Phi Phi Islands have earned praise as a top spot in Thailand. Home to scenic snorkeling, breathtaking hiking views and thrilling water sports, there's plenty to keep you occupy.

Ko Phi Phi Don is a major island in the Phi Phi Islands where travel experts recommend hiking the summit. He then suggests “when they're full of fresh seafood, Tom Yum (soup), pad thai, then they'll see the fire dancers frolicking on the beach.”

    Pearl Island

Popularly known as Nakanoi, or Pearl Island, is a quiet, protected island with the most untouched conditions required to grow rare Nankai pearls. For a unique experience, you can learn about these treasures at Naka Noi Pearl Farm.

This farm offers practical demonstrations of the unique art of pearl farming. Here you can manually shoot the perfect pearl accessories and experience an unusual opportunity to commemorate your trip from one of the charming shops.

    Phang Nga Bay

Travel expert Ash suggests visiting Phang Nga Bay, famous for its idyllic emerald green seas, towering limestone pillars and luscious forests. Fan is a secluded bay with water that houses coral reefs and secluded inlets.

Dinghy or Kayak makes it easy to explore hidden lagoons. With our own private yacht, you can make for a unique experience. It is these calm areas that most tourists cannot access, so it is recommended to explore by traveling along the water.

When you visit Thailand, you will step into the world of White Lotus. Taking inspiration from the hit series, these travel expert tips can make your best holiday.
