Oulafrica.travel 2025 has been officially live and has seen a surge in activity on the platform since then. Buyers and exhibitors will network and schedule show meetings in advance from February 17-21, 2025.

With the launch of the Story Series, which begins Tuesday, February 11th and Tuesday, February 14th, we are pleased to showcase exciting new additions to the show. One topic is celebrating some of our tourism heroes making a difference. These are hosted by industry legend Colin Bell and are accompanied by live webinars. Colin discusses some of the key topics and challenges in the industry today.

Colin discusses some of the key topics and challenges in the industry today. I hope this will not only resonate with his heart, but also resonate with most of us. He compiled a list of guests to chat with during this story series.

Colin Bell began his life working as a safari guide in Botswana in the 1970s. Over the years, his trips have taken him to many horns of Africa, witnessing firsthand some of the best wildernesses and some of the very worst conservation catastrophes. These coal face experiences made him one of the early initiators of the “green safari” tourism model. Over the years, he co-founded market leaders such as Wilderness Safaris, Great Plains Conservation, and the current natural selection Safaris.

“The story series began as a simple idea to create a platform to dive a little deeper to showcase some of the trade suppliers that make a difference. Jonathan Robinson from Bean There Coffee Company and painted wolf wine. Emmaborg came to mind! Afterwards, there was one conversation with Colin Bell, the concept of the story series. Shortly after, Colin had a lineup of 10 people to interview! “Co-founders Ally Hunt said.

The lineup includes Dave Wilson, Dr. Andrew Baxter, Dr. Ross Harvey, Dr. Craig Spencer, Dr. Colleen Begg, Rod Cassidy, Simon Byron and Jackson Lucia.

The story series also includes live webinars harnessing the power of AI in tourism by David Ryan, CEO and founder of Rhino Africa, and Natalia Rosa, founder of Big Amvidions. Sammy Kelly, Head of Product Development at Travel Hub Collection, also offers daily webinars.

Subscriptions for the Story Series will open on Friday, February 7th and are only open to show participants. Registration for new exhibitors is currently closed, but buyers and media registrations are open until February 14th via oururafrica.travel website.
