David Beckham, Joey Essex and Helen Flanagan are among many stars and influencers who love Dubai.

But so are ordinary British people trying to escape for the necessary winter sun. And who can blame them? The desert town is February 26C, just like the perfect summer day here.

A seven-hour flight away, Dubai has dazzling beaches, Michelin-star restaurants, incredible architecture and plenty of luxury hotels offering the finest service and standards. It's no wonder Dubai comes on top for the winter sun.

The British make up about 12% of Dubai's visitors, and there is a huge ex-pat community there. When considered a playground for the rich, destinations become more affordable and accessible to other travelers.

Believe it or not, budget hotels exist there! Hostels can be used for just £20 per night, while affordable chain hotels like the Premier Inn and ibis start from £30 to £60 per night.

For those on a tight budget, Airbnb is another great option, with rooms and apartments ranging from £40 to £80 per night, depending on the location. Staying in neighborhoods like Deira and Al Barsha offers more affordable rates while being well associated with public transport.

Once supported by the vast expanse of vast desert terrain, the remote fishing community has rapidly transformed Dubai into a futuristic metropolitan city, a major global transport hub and the largest city in the United Arab Emirates. Ta.

Located on the Persian Gulf, the Arab nation is filled with sparkling modern architecture that resembles a science fiction cityscape, and is an influencer's dream.

And while there's plenty of gorgeous influencer-type entertainment to keep you entertained, you can enjoy it without splashing out the Cash Celebrity Style.

Despite its reputation for luxury, Dubai has plenty of inexpensive activities that don't dent your wallet. Here are some suggestions for budget-friendly fun:

Fountains in Dubai: Catch the world's largest choreographed fountain show for free at the foot of Burj Khalifa. Water dance happens every night and is one of the best free attractions in the city.

Beaches: Public beaches such as JBR Beach and Kite Beach can be visited for free and provided with the sun, sea and sand. Perfect for a relaxing day in the sun.

Explore Souks: Wandering through the bustling gold Souk and Spice Souk of Deira. You are free to view. If you're looking to shop, you can get great deals.

Abra Ride: For just 20p, you can use the traditional wooden boat (ABRA) across from Dubai Creek. It's one of the best ways to experience the old side of Dubai on a budget.
