Ryan Air has confirmed that the boarding pass on paper has been abandoned this year, with a movement that can bother thousands of passengers.

The company's boss, Michael Oriary, states that airlines will gradually abolish physical paths by May 2025, and 60 % of travelers are currently using mobile paths.

At present, British tourists can present their boarding passes in the form of paper or digital to the company app.

They can also get a boarding pass at the airport with the airline. However, if the passenger has forgotten to check in and download a boarding pass before arriving at the airport terminal, he will be charged for £ 55.

Under the new system, there is no option to check in at the airport with the desk completely discarded.

“Our goal is to eliminate check -in desks at the airport, as we did at the luggage counter,” said O'Leary.

“Everything is managed through the app, the process is completely digitized, and the paper is completely eliminated.”

He continued: “I am one of my last people and still appear on my paper, and when everyone enters the app, no one pays again to the airport boarding pass There is nothing -Airport check -There is no charge.

“So, I think it will be a smoother and easier trip to everyone.”

Despite the plan, some countries, including popular destinations such as Morocco and Turkey, still need physical printing on boarding passes.

RYANAIR's website is currently “If you leave from the airport in Morocco, you will not be accepted by the digital boarding path. You need to carry the physical printing of the boarding pass. – In the facility.”
