The Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Tourism have announced travel recommendations following the heavy rain that caused floods in some of the Chobe National Park and Moremi Game Protection. Important routes in CHOBE, including the GHOHA-LINYANTI and Savuti Marsh roads, are currently not accessible, and the Phoha area is completely closed. In MOREMI, serious floods have influenced many roads, and only KHWAI BRIDGE and the third bridge continue to operate, promoting concerns about the safety of travelers who navigate these areas. 。

The ministry has evaluated the situation to ensure safety, to determine whether the Moremi Protection Reserve, including the potential temporary closure, is needed. It is recommended that travelers notify the latest information on road access and pay attention. This functions as a timely reminiscent of the issues brought by the rainy season of the botwana. This affects remote accessibility while providing unique scenery. Travel agencies and operators need to check the itinerary, explore alternative routes, examine appropriate travel insurance, and advise you to reduce unexpected confusion during safari experience.
