    Action-packed event lineup announced for Serenity Hills' Pack Shed Restaurant – Tourism News Africa

    Located in the coastal forests of real estate focused on the environment of Serenity Hills in Margate, the beautiful luggage restaurant is once again hosting a night of quality entertainment and great culinary cuisine. On Friday, August 1st, Packshed Restaurant welcomes Robin Auld, an international recording artist and outstanding musician.

    “Along with the popular Sweetdale Night Market and Sweet Gang & Friends Farm Stall, the Pack Shed Restaurant welcomes famous South African musician Robin Ord,” commented Serenity Hills Estate Manager Lyn Ferguson. “This is an incredible opportunity to enjoy the evening with live entertainment and award-winning dishes from Pac Shed. This time we will be holding another Wine & Dean evening in August.

    Night with Robin Owld

    Date: Friday, August 1st

    Start time: 5:30pm

    Cost: R350 per person includes welcome drinks, plated meals and performance.

    Slide guitars, harmonica, African blues guitar styling and soul vocals all form part of Robin Orde's fresh sound. Every woman familiar to South Africans, baby You were good, perfect day, Robin Owld's music evolved from the pop-rock sound of his early hits to a modern mix of roots and blue.

    Based in Cape Town, he performed and recorded in New York, London, Glasgow and Nashville, and performed at festivals such as the Cambridge Folk Festival, Tartan Hearts, Gold Coast Ocean Fest and Womad. His latest album, The Everlovin' Wind, enjoyed an amazing reception.

    Sweetdale Night Market

    Date: Friday, July 25th (last Friday of every month)

    Time: 6pm to 10pm

    Cost: Free entry

    Sweetdale Night Market is a fun night out event for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy a night of live music, fresh farm products, unique food stalls, delicious drinks and other amazing artisan stands selling handmade products. This is a pet-friendly event with weather resistant and backup power that allows you to enter completely free!

    Boplaas Estate Wine & Dine

    Date: August 7th

    Starting: 6:30pm

    Cost: R495 per person

    Packshed Restaurant is excited to announce Wine & Dine Evening in collaboration with Boplaas Wine Estate. They tweak the 5-course set menu paired with exclusive wines from Boplaas!

    Sweet Gang & Friends Farm Stall

    Wednesday to Sunday

    Serenity Hills also has a must-see sweet gang and friends farm stall. This is a cozy and dynamic hub that offers an impressive selection of delicious food and handmade treasures. The farm stall adjacent to the Pack Shed Restaurant is “local supporters of the locals” with fresh ingredients such as fresh butter, eggs and baked goods. In addition to providing great food and drinks, the farm stalls offer a variety of products, including art, crafts, gifts, clothing, and more, with a focus on collaboration with local businesses.
