    A few months after USAID Global Funding Freeze, the development sector has undergone major changes, and the European development workforce is feeling the impact. Since the USAID suspension work order was announced on January 24th this year, Devex data shows that there have been 7,118 opportunities in Europe. This is a nearly 28% decrease compared to 9,844 opportunities in comparable periods last year. The data suggests that despite budget cuts and shifts, recruitment in the region is continuing to operate several organizations that are continuously involved in hiring development professionals. This article highlights the best multilateral and prominent local organizations currently employed within the region. Top one of the multilateral employers adopted in Europe. International Migration Headquarters: Geneva, Switzerland Established: Posted after January 24, 1951 The International Migration Agency focuses on supporting and developing effective responses to immigration shift dynamics and providing advice on global immigration policies and practices. The IOM promoted mainly medium-level opportunities and fixed periods. World Food Program Headquarters: Italy's Roman Year Established: Posted after January 24, 1961, the World Food Program uses food assistance to save lives and build paths to peace, stability and prosperity in emergencies. WFP has released mainly medium-level opportunities and full-time staff positions. Management, ICT and social development-related roles have been the most promoted since January 24th. 3. Food and Agriculture Organization Headquarters: Founded in Rome, Italy: Posted on January 24, 1945, the Total Employment Food and Agriculture Organization specializes in global efforts to achieve food security. FAO generally recruits mid-term and regular staff positions. Since January 24th, management, agriculture, and technical advisory-related roles have been the most common. 4. Headquarters unops: Copenhagen, Denmark Established: Posted after January 24, 1973, Total Employment Comprehensive is a United Nations agency focused on supporting the efforts of partners to bring peace and security, humanity and development solutions around the world. Unops is primarily a mid-level opportunity and full-time staff position that was released. Jobs related to procurement, project management and partnerships have been the most common since January 24th. 5. European Reconstruction and Development Headquarters: London, UK Founded in 2019: Posted from January 24, 1991, The Total Employment Reconstruction and Development Bank is a multilateral development bank focusing on life change through involvement in projects, business services and policy reforms. EBRD promoted mainly entry-level opportunities and long-term contract positions. Bank Analysts and Operations Finance Analysts are the most common job titles since January 24th. Danish Refugee Council Headquarters: Copenhagen, Denmark Established in 1956 Danish Refugee Council is a civilian humanitarian organization focused on development and peacebuilding activities for refugees, displaced and internally displaced people. DRCs generally promoted entry-level opportunities and short-term consultants. Humanitarian, financial and fund-related roles, including economic recovery assistants, meal officers and programme directors, have been the most common since January 24th. 2. Foreign, Federal and Development Office Headquarters: London, UK, UK Established: 2020 Foreign, Federal and Development Office is the UK Ministerial division responsible for diplomacy, development and consulate work around the world. FCDO is primarily recruiting entry-level and full-time staff positions related to management, trade, policy and governance roles such as trade authorization, corporate services representatives, and roconsuls. Medecins SANS FRONTIERES Headquarters: Established Geneva, Switzerland: 1971 Medecins SANS Frontieres is an independent medical institution specializing in emergency medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, versatility, natural disasters and the exclusion of health care. MSF is primarily recruiting mid-term and regular staff positions. Health and humanitarian aid-related roles such as protecting managers, medical coordinators and project managers have been the most common job titles since January 24th. 4. Headquarters of the International Red Cross and Red Cross Association: Establishment of Geneva, Switzerland: 1919 The Red Cross and Red Crescent Social Federation is a global humanitarian network that promises to save lives and change minds through long-term services, development programs and disaster response. IFRC has primarily promoted medium-term and entry-level opportunities and short-term contract positions related to the financial, communications and humanitarian aid sector since January 24th. 5. NIRASINTERNATIONAL CONSULTING Headquarters: Copenhagen, Denmark Founded: 1956 NIRAS International Consulting is an interdisciplinary consulting company providing technical assistance and project management services around the world. NIRA generally recruits medium-level opportunities and short-term contract positions. Key experts, team leaders and experts related to the environmental, agriculture, social development and governance sectors have been the most common duties since January 24th. 6. European Union Mission Headquarters: Kiev, Pristina, Ukraine, Pristina, Kosovo: In 2014 and 2008, the European Union plays a role in strengthening international security through peacekeeping operations and national mission projects. Private missions in the region, such as the EU advisory mission in Ukraine and the EU legal mission in Kosovo, focus on promoting and monitoring legal institutions. The EU has announced intermediate and advanced levels of opportunities, primarily since January 24th. Governance, security and human rights-based roles such as mission security officers, legal directors, and strategic advisors are the most common job titles. Hurry of Needs: Founded in Prague in the Czech Republic: People in 1992 are nonprofit organizations focused on humanitarian assistance, promoting human rights and providing social and educational awareness programs around the world. People in need are generally looking for advanced level opportunities and 12 months of contract positions. Social development-related roles such as country directors, operations managers and advisors have been the most promoted roles since January 24th. 8. Czech Development Agency Headquarters: Czech Republic Established in 2008: Czech Development Authority, or Czech Republic, is the state organization responsible for identifying, supporting and monitoring development projects between the Czech Republic and its partner countries. The Czechoids have promoted mid-level opportunities and short-term contracts, primarily since January 24th. Management and human rights related opportunities such as project managers and project assistants are the most common duties. 9. Poland's Humanitarian Action Headquarters: Warsaw, Poland Founded in 1992 Poland Humanitarian Action is a non-governmental and public benefit organization focused on responding to the global humanitarian crisis. Since January 24, PAH has primarily promoted medium- and short-term contract positions related to management, climate and humanitarian roles. 10. Estonian Refugee Council Headquarters: Tartu and Tallinn, Estonia Founded in 2000 Estonian Refugee Council is a rights-based humanitarian organization that provides immediate support and support to people in the Baltic Sea. ERC has released entry-level and full-time staff positions primarily since January 24th, related to global humanitarian aid and project management.
