Adventure, education and conservation come together in an unforgettable experience for children at Lion & Safari Park thanks to the park's much-loved Little Rangers Adventure Club. Designed for children aged 5-12, the program quickly becomes a favorite product for families looking to develop a deeper connection between nature and wildlife through fun and hands-on learning, swapping screen time for Safari time.

Located just 13 km from Lanseria Airport, Lion & Safari Park offers children the unusual opportunity to walk in the footsteps of real rangers, including exploring animal pursuits, eating giraffes, participating in lion stories, and completing conservation-themed activities in a safe and attractive environment.

“At Lion & Safari Park, we believe that fostering a love for wildlife begins at an early age. This program has seen how much curiosity and passion it evokes among the children involved.” “The Little Rangers program is a way to nurture the next generation of conservationists by providing unforgettable, hands-on experiences that connect to nature.”

Children are encouraged to engage in conservation activities that support curiosity and promote wild safety and care. Every moment is educational and exciting as weekend sessions are engaging, including art in the park, pawand sport tracking, and safe, age-friendly bush survival skills.

Each time they are completed, the children will earn a badge and collect three badges to move the tier up. From Cub Scouts to Safaristars, Wildlife Warriors and ultimately Little Game Rangers, each tier offers the ultimate rewards and benefits. Each level offers new activities and adventures – build knowledge, confidence and excitement along the way. From tracking foot prints to learning about endangered species, each badge earns brings children closer to getting closer to a real natural ambassador.

The programme runs throughout the year at the end of the year, offering families a unique way to inspire young conservationists and enjoy the outdoors. Sign up is R300. This includes Safari Vest, Field Guide and First Cub Scout Badge, with each activity session being sold at the R130. Sessions will be held every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 10:30.
