A Glove Trotting YouTuber who visited every country in Europe named four countries that she didn't necessarily recommend to others. American YouTuber Lexie Limitless secured incredible acclaim for being the youngest person to visit every country in the world at the age of 21. And she recently went to the channel to share her thoughts on 44 European countries.
In a recent video, “I've traveled to all countries in Europe, so you don't need to do that,” Lexi shared some of her favorite “hidden gems” from the continent. However, she considered it to be one of her “unliked subjects,” but Lexi also listed four countries where she didn't actually connect. She qualifies her claim by saying that travel was “subjective” and that “everyone has different preferences.”
She said:
“Who likes differently, I think that countries where some of the other Europe probably didn't really impress me as much as Belarus, Slovakia, Moldova and Bulgaria.
“If you have to name a few specific things, I think it's very important to know like a good local who is trying to show you and show you the best spots, especially in those countries.”
Lexi said travel “mainly” and “berse” people you meet along the way. She had a “really difficult” time that she gained “unique experiences” because no one knew about them in these countries.
She added that comparing small countries like Moldova and Bulgaria with countries like Italy is almost “unfair.”
The experienced traveler also said she “absolutely loves” to try and “avoid” certain countries that she may not necessarily recommend, and to return to where there is a reason or reason to be there beyond tourism.
Belarus, a former Soviet republic, is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe that shares borders with Russia, Ukraine and Poland, among others. Since 1994 it has been ruled by President Alexander Lukashenko, known as “the last dictator of Europe.”
Located in the heart of the continent, Slovakia borders the Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, Poland and Ukraine. Until the so-called “velvet divorce” in 1993, it was previously part of Czechoslovakia.
Meanwhile, Moldova, another landlocked country and former Soviet republic, is adjacent to Ukraine and Romania. Two-thirds of the population are of Romanian descent, and the two countries share a common heritage, the BBC writes.
Bulgaria is located in the eastern Balkans and shares the border with the Black Sea. It is a primarily Slavic-speaking country, gradually moving towards a market economy following the end of communist rule.
