EasyJet changes passenger check-in at six UK airports | Travel News | Travel

EasyJet passengers flying from six major UK airports can check in and unload their luggage the night before, thanks to unique service.

Budget airlines operate Twilight Bag Drops at select airports across the country, allowing passengers to “beat the rush” on the morning of their flight. Instead of having to queue at the airport on your travel day to check in, this can be done the day before to save time the next morning. The service is available only at six UK airports, as well as at Berline Airport and Amsterdam Schipol in Europe, and is restricted to early departures.

Passengers departing from the airport that offers Twilight services in the morning can drop their bags into the EasyJet bag drop area during designated times.

The service is freely available, passengers must check in online or via the EasyJet mobile app before arriving at the airport, and bring their pass and boarding pass.

Drops of EasyJet Twilight Bags are available at the following six UK airports during the specified times below:

    London Gatwick Airport (LGW)

Passengers with flights departing in front of the 8-Anbag can be dropped off between 8pm and 10pm

    Bristol Airport (BRS)

For passengers departing from 6pm to 9pm and before 8:30pm

    Manchester Airport (man)

For passengers departing from 6pm to 9pm and before 8:30pm

    Edinburgh Airport (EDI)

Passengers departing until 12 noon can drop off between 4pm and 8pm

    Glasgow Airport (GLA)

For passengers with flights departing from noon on 12 to 4pm to 9pm

    Belfast Airport (BFS)

Passengers flying between 8pm and 9pm and before 8pm can unload the Anbug

Passengers can unload their bags on behalf of those traveling with the same reservation, and all luggage is safely stored in the airport's restricted zone.

EasyJet said: “The Twilight Bag Drop allows you to unload your bags at the airport in the evening before your early morning flight, so it will be less the next day.

“If you have an early morning flight, you can use Twilight Bag Drop. Drop your bag at the specified time the night before (be careful of the EasyJet Bag Drop Area).

“You will check in online or via the mobile app before you arrive at the airport. Drop your luggage into the airport in the evening before your flight. Don't forget to bring your boarding pass and passport. It's time to fly around the airport. It's fresh and ready for your flight.”
