Safety Concerns: From misery from the weather to geopolitical fears, personal safety is a major concern for UAE travelers cited by 44% of respondents, followed by fear of extreme weather events, financial constraints and flight disruptions. High-income travelers pay particular attention to geopolitical tensions, but younger travelers are important in protecting travel documents and digital assets abroad. Travel insurance purchases are also on the rise as 26% of respondents say they intend to purchase insurance policies through travel websites.
