Costa Rica pioneered sustainable travel decades ago, but now some of its Central American neighbours have gained equal recognition. For those looking to explore ecotourism in the region, the Cayuga Collection (started in Costa Rica) now has sustainable high-grade materials in Guatemala, Panama and Nicaragua. “Big hotel groups often don't touch the place with such a strong sustainability focus,” Hans Pfister, co-founder of Cayuga, tells Forbes.com. “There's a lot of effort and effort involved in keeping these places truly sustainable, and it's more than just talking about sustainability, it's going to be a reality.”

In late 2026, Crescent Seas will launch Seven Seas Navigator's first “Sea Luxury Condominium,” featuring 210 cabins in a 371-foot studio starting at $1.25 million. All other units are suites, come in 12 designs, priced at $5 million to $8.5 million.

The brand has transformed its Austin, Texas property into a retro sweet inspired by Olipop's bestselling flavours. Among the suites of the Austin Motel Promotion (an application running until July 8th) is the 1986 Cream Soda Suite, featuring a vibrant blue colour palette. 1995 Strawberry Vanilla Suite, pink paradise with lava lamps and boy band posters. The 2002 Cherry Chorus Suite features walls and bright red furniture.
