Officially it's the holiday season, and travelers are beginning to pack suitcases in the best outfits. But there's nothing worse than ironing your clothes at home.
Traveler discussions, such as rolling, folding, using cubes, and using bundle wrap methods, are the best techniques for more space and fewer folds. However, this is not important unless you follow the correct packaging order. According to travel experts at Skyscanner, ignoring the simple “wrinkle” packing order of suitcases will cause the clothes to fold and wrinkle and crumpled.
Here's how to pack a bag “like a pro”: It will save you from walking around on holidays and even worse, dressing well-wrinkled clothes.
Experts warned that heavy items should always be placed near the wheels to avoid causing wrinkles.
They said: “Place heavy or bulky items (shampoo, shoes, etc.) first on your case and place them on the bottom near the wheels. It helps with the weight distribution of the case and will crush your clothes and not wrinkle.”
Shoes, coats and towels are usually the heaviest items in suitcases.
Positioning them on the bottom creates a flat, stable base, reducing pressure on the top garment and minimizing wrinkles.
Experts continued to share more packaging tips for wrinkle-free clothes.
They added: “No one wants to iron on the holidays. Save space, stop creases, roll clothes instead of folding, then put them in a vacuum compression bag. Simply put the clothes in, seal the bag, then squeeze the air.”
2. Packing Cube
Another effective packaging solution is to use packing cubes or travel bags. These will help you organize your belongings and make it easier to find what you need on arrival.
3. Put small items in your shoes
The expert explained: “When it comes to packaging, use every inch of suitcase space. Pack your shoes with roll tops, underwear, socks and other small items to make sure every space is filled.”

Losing valuable items is the biggest nightmare of your holidays. Travel experts suggest that travelers should hide in an empty Santan lotion container to ensure that their valuables are not stolen or left behind.
“Use an empty lip balm container to hide the rolled-up notes. Think about travel insurance too,” suggested an expert at Skyscanner.
