Windsor Properties, once home to King Henry VIII's unlucky wife, will be auctioned this week. The four-bed split-level maisonette was once owned by Ambolin, but is believed to have lived within it while in a secret relationship with the king during his marriage to his first wife, Catherine, Aragon.

Located near Windsor Castle, it was the main site of their courtship, which began in 1526 and is thought to have lasted for about seven years. The property is sold by auction house London with a guide price of £325,000 and is located in the heart of the historic town. “When you step into this gorgeous wood framed building, you quickly step into the past,” said Joe Labelda, an auction specialist at the London auction house.

Packed with the characteristics of the era, the property gives subtle hints to its past, with its wooden beams exposed in Tudor style.

Located within King Anne's court, you will nod to the most famous former resident.

Labelda added: “With the exposed beams and distinctive features, it's easy to imagine following in the footsteps of one of England's most famous historic women.

“This is a rare opportunity to grab a slice of history and live in a place that remains immersed in romance.

“If you're a history lover trying to become a custodian in part of 16th century history, this is your property.”

The property is auctioned on July 2nd by the London auction house via online and in-person sales.

Anne Bolin was Queen of England from 1533 to 1536 and gave birth to Queen Elizabeth I.

However, she was unable to provide her husband with a male heir and he soon entered a secret relationship with Jane Seymour, who became his third wife.

In 1536, Henry ordered Anne's investigation into High Treason, a crime in which the historian now believes she is innocent.

    She was beheaded in 1536.

The property is on sale at a lease for the remainder of 997 in 997, and we advise potential buyers to understand the auction bidding process and the differences between buying at auction and through real estate agents.
