If you are on vacation this year, there is one item that can help your journey run smoothly, but you wouldn't think you'll pack it in. Travel disease affects nearly one for three British people, but there is one inexpensive and easy treatment that cruise crews and frequent flyers have used for many years.

Cruise and travel expert Yasmin Peckel says trucks can stop nausea. Unfortunately, transport movement intoxication is a common problem. Luckily, Blue Cruise Travel and Cruise Specialist, Yasmin Peckel has the perfect on-the-go solution for all travelers. “All seasickness, or other regional sea diseases, is a well-known trick among seafarers, can settle down with a calm cup of peppermint tea. It's always a good idea to have some bags in your handbag in case your travel provider doesn't have them in stock,” she says.

“You just need to get hot water from the trolley service, the crew, or drink a glass of peppermint tea in the cruise cabin.”

You can buy a box of peppermint tea bags from Tesco for £1.75. There are 40 tea bags in a box.

According to Blue Cruise, “The constant fluctuating movement at sea or in the air and the lack of a visual reference point combined with transport movement lies behind nausea.”

Peppermint or mint tea can help relax the stomach and digestive muscles and improve bile flow.

Peppermint helps with psychosocial stress that can cause or exacerbate digestive problems. If you're looking for other tricks to treat motion sickness, there are many other ways to try.

Make sure to select the appropriate sheet. You should choose the seat with the least movement. The front seats are often the best in the car. Try the middle of the cabin on a boat or plane.

Another tip is to focus on the horizon and secure your gaze at a stable point in the distance, align the senses of the visual and inner ear, or the stable on the plane.

Finally, breathe fresh air if possible. If you are traveling by car, open the windows in the car and take advantage of land and sea breezes as improving airflow will reduce nausea.

Follow these simple tips to reduce motion sickness and make your journey more enjoyable.
