As school holidays approach, South African families are looking for ways to keep their children busy. Planning long road trips, taking short day trips, feeding kids and keeping them happy is a key aspect of a successful road trip, but relying on sugar-receiving snacks can lead to unwanted mood swings and unfortunate passengers. To avoid this, the team at Laager Rooibos has put together a delicious selection of homemade Padkos recipes that keep your Tummies full and your drivers in Sane!
“While travel is certainly part of an adventure, parents with small children often find themselves terrifying over the long term they spent in their cars on vacation!” commented on Candice Sessions at Laager Marketing Manager. “It's appealing to simply resort to tips and snacks to keep small passengers happy, but this can be more harmful than good. We recommend preparing some homemade snacks in advance to keep your stomach full, lift your spirits, and keep your parents in sane!”
