The travel agency took him to social media to reveal why he couldn't wait to leave this particular holiday spot that he had otherwise seen the boom Recent sightseeing. Penny, who shares her travel experience on her Instagram account @PennyGoESTRAVELLING, posted a video She shared negative experiences in Egypt, including constant hugging and fraud.
Penny, who has visited Egypt multiple times, said that every time she visits, “the experience gets worse.” In the caption, she wrote:
“What was done for us by our tour guides and hotel staff was done as part of a general good service, but instead there was a way to extract extra cash in addition to what was already paid.”
The video begins with a clip of Penny boarding the plane and cuts it into an empty shot through the plane's window.
The following is a travel agency trapped inside an Egyptian tomb, who writes that they are “confined to the tomb for a tip.”
Her nightmare continues as the video shows Egyptian locals trying to sell something while Penny and her friends are trying to get into the car.
It is a clip of the riverbank with the caption that “paying for a 'luxurious cruise down the Nile' will result in a dirty old boat driven by a 12-year-old boy.”
Penny also claims that she was “sent to the store” by her tour guide and “locked up” in an effort to buy something – the incident she says that she happened twice. The “hug ring” continued during the trip, but unfortunately the struggle continued to the point of returning home.
In a series of captions, she wrote:
“We had been walking miles to the airport lounge we were told, and the Amex Platinum cardholder asked for $175 for access, free of charge.”
Penny also addressed issues she experienced “with the exception of the money culture.”
She added: “Egypt is not for women with faint hearts. Men stare at you and say indecent things – nonetheless, I want them to achieve, but nonetheless, these constant comments and looks can make you feel uncomfortable.
“If you're not confident and have a lot of cash, don't worry about being faint. Cats are called and always asked not to ask for money. Egypt is perfect if you enjoy a personal space that is being invaded.
“If not, go back to the plane.”
