At the 2025 World Airline Awards, Rwandare has won the title of Africa's best regional airline for its exceptional service, safety and reliability in the East, Central and South Africa. Royal Airmallock and Airlink continued in close proximity to the second and third. Based on millions of passenger voting, the award has been recognized by Ethiopian Airlines as the highest continent in the seventh grade overall. Meanwhile, Air Mauritius was named Africa's second best airline, nominated for top-class service and international reach. With increased customer satisfaction and increased standards, airlines in these regions have proven that superior service doesn't have to cross the ocean.
