Global – One of the world's largest aviation and pilot training groups, one of the world's largest aviation and pilot training groups in Europe, the Middle East, Asia/Australia, India and Africa, announced the signing of an agreement to win five full power EDA40 training aircraft with Diamond Aircraft, marking another important milestone for maintaining the group's environment and bird birds.
The agreement was signed in the 2025 edition of the Paris Air Show, one of the world's leading aerospace events, and reflects Airways' continued investment in next-generation technologies to enable safe, efficient and environmentally responsible flight training across the global campus.

The EDA40 will be the first EASA/FAA Part 23 certified all-electric aircraft specifically tailored for the flight training market. With a significant reduction in electric propulsion systems, noise footprint, and direct operating costs, the EDA40 is perfectly in line with Airways Aviation's strategic sustainability goals.

Air Aviation and Diamond aircraft have maintained a long-standing relationship, with Diamond aircraft forming the core part of the Academy's training fleet in multiple locations. The introduction of electric aircraft represents the next stage in that collaboration.
