The holiday season is full-fledged, with many people flying to various destinations around the world, escaping the busyness of life. There is nothing in the world that beats a trip to a sunny seaside resort during the summer. This African city could be the ultimate choice for holiday makers.

Hurghada is a beautiful seaside city on the west side of Egypt's Red Sea. The incredible location features a 40km coastline with golden sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. This town was once a small fishing village.

Hurghada retains all its natural and historic charm, making it a great place for relaxation. Travelers seeking the sun can make the most of this beautiful destination. Along with sandy beaches, temperatures reaching 30s during the summer, making it a warm climate all year round.

The resort is also famous for scuba diving, with many diving shops and schools. Visitors can enjoy a variety of other water sports, including windsurfing, kitesurfing, yachting and snorkeling.

Exploring the city's heritage is also a must. El Dahar, in the historic old town, is located just north of Hurghada and consists of narrow streets, traditional souks, Egyptian coffee shops and Christian Coptic churches.

    One of the Tripadvisors said:
Here you can learn about real Egyptian life! There are very few tourists here. Impressions I've collected here: Forgotten and beautiful! ”

Another visitor shared some warnings, but still highly rated the location, rating four out of five.

They write: “We had to shop and were told this is the place to visit, and we are happy that we did. There are plenty of cafes, small restaurants and shops in the area where we can buy a wide range of things, from spices to clothing, luggage and everything in between.

“I highly recommend the hug rings and it works here. The shop/street owners were a bit forceful with our time/money, but in addition to not being able to handle it, we saw quite a few bee food/homeless people, so overall it's a bustling place as we can easily spend 3-4 hours.”
