Kigali, Rwanda | Xinhua | Rwandaa was named Africa's best regional airline at the 2025 World Aviation Awards at the Paris Air Show held in France on Tuesday.
In a statement, Rwandare celebrated the recognition and called the praise a testament to his reputation and commitment to excellence. Passenger feedback contributed to the victory, highlighting the airline's attention to detail across all elements of the travel experience.

Founded in 1999, the World Airline Awards is organized by SkyTrax and is considered one of the most prestigious perceptions in the aviation industry. Known as the “Aviation Industry Oscar,” the award is based on a passenger satisfaction survey from the world's largest airline.
According to the statement, the 2025 survey conducted between September 2024 and May 2025 collected over 22.3 million eligible entries from passengers of over 100 nationalities and featured more than 325 airlines. ■
