New warnings have been shared on the official X-account of the office, making sure Brits are keeping their favourite holiday destinations this summer. In some countries, there are strict rules for entering your passport. Millions of Britons have flew to more Sunny destinations around Europe, and are even further away this year, but you need to make sure your passports are scratched.

Some countries around the world, including countries that are popular destinations for Britain, require a passport to take effect for a considerable amount of time after your visit. It usually takes three weeks for your passport to be renewed by your passport office. However, if more documents are needed, this can take time, so you should be proactive and proactive when making sure your passports are standard when traveling to a particular country.

Ma (HM) Passport Office posted on X: “Did you know that some countries require that your passport be valid for several months from the scheduled return date? Check the expiration date of your passport today.”

Popular with many Britons over the summer months, Turkey must remain on a passport for at least 150 days when travelers arrive in the country.

Meanwhile, those heading to Dubai or other parts of the United Arab Emirates must remain in their passports for six months when they reach the border control of the country.

UK passport holders can apply for a new passport online or use the form they obtained at their local post office, which costs an additional £16. There is also an online high-speed truck service that can be used in case of an urgent need for a passport.

Regarding travel to countries within the EU and Schengen region, the post office says that Brits must have a passport issued within 10 years of departure and have a valid passport for at least three months from the scheduled return date.
