Travelers share advice for those looking to get caught up in Europe's largest spa. Therme București is located on a flight that costs just 30 pounds from the UK.
Located just north of Bucharest, Romania, this vast wellness centre features a botanical garden, indoor and outdoor pool, water slides, sauna arrangements, mineral-rich pools, quiet relaxation zones and a rich menu of spa treatments.
With its proximity and affordability from the UK, it is an ideal place to rejuvenate your weekend retreat. The spa has earned a slate with a 5-star rating on TripAdvisor, and guests compare it to “tropical paradise.”
Intrigued by Buzz, Britt's tourist Lorrera shared her visit to Tiktok, claiming that the spa is a must-see destination for anyone and for everyone. For this reason, she provided practical guidance to improve the experience of potential visitors.
“Don't go to Europe's biggest spa without knowing all this first,” she said at the beginning of the video before digging into details of the trip.
“Flights from the UK cost around £30 and admission to all three areas of the spa is also around £30,” she shared, noting the importance of timing.
Lorrera continued to share her strategy. “We did this and had no issues getting our sunbeds. But within about an hour, nothing was available.” However, she recommended visiting on weekdays to avoid crowds if possible.
“You can book with a massage for an extra charge, but you'll need to book when you get there,” she said, highlighting the urgency to secure a massage slot on arrival, as advance booking is not an option.
Lorella then recommended that you navigate spa maps and additional activities easily and grab a schedule for the day to effectively plan your visit.
“There are a few things you need to pay for, like this water bed, for example,” she pointed out, adding that it's completely optional. “But everything else is more or less included in your ticket price.”
She featured the spa's extensive food court. There, guests can indulge in unlimited pizza, pasta, sushi and salads. Visitors will receive a wristband that acts as a cashless payment method, and the total invoice will be presented upon departure.
Continuing her tour, Lorrera highlighted a family-friendly water slide area, apart from the main spa facility. She also said the spa is divided into three sections and offers flexible entry options depending on the area guests choose to access.
“But my biggest tip if you can do it is to stay in the evening, because it turns into a bit of a nightclub vibe and it's just the perfect vibe,” she got enthralled.
“It's also a very quick drive from the airport, so if you want to do this on a day trip, it's definitely feasible,” she said.
