Unique pub with mysterious beaches that appear only at certain times | Travel News | Travel

For many, afternoons and evenings spent in the pub are part of their weekly routine. Even if you want to stay away from alcohol, spending time catching up with friends and family in the pub is a long-standing tradition in the UK. There are plenty of pubs to choose from across the country, but I don't deny that they're better than others.

The UK has a wide variety of pubs, from the most mysterious pubs to the billionaires-loved pubs, and recently one has even decided to rebrand it as the UK's first reform British pub. When it comes to visiting local locals, you may think politics is kept at your door, but it's fair to say you can find all kinds of parks in the country.

However, one London pub can grab the title to one of the UK's most unique pubs thanks to its mysterious beaches that only appear at certain times of the day.

London may be the last place you think about choosing a pub near the beach, but in fact the city is home to Thames Beach.

Hidden between Tate Modern and London's Blackfriars station, the founder's arms have an outdoor terrace overlooking the River Thames, revealing a secret beach when it comes at the right time.

In a Sun article, Cyann Fielding reported that “when the tide is washed away, a sandy beach appears directly under the pub.”

The Thames is not suitable for swimming so you might want to leave bathers at home, but Sian said the beach is “surprisingly clean” and “gold sand, etc.”

Central London is certainly the last place you'll expect to indulge in a beachside pint, but as this patch of river tides, there are plenty of coasts to look out for.

However, the pub is located just above the riverbed. In other words, it can be easy to overlook. Regarding their visit, a TripAdvisor user said, “You can't blame the place, you can't overlook the Thames. There's a beach outside too… Yes, there's sand and the tide was low so the kids were playing.”

It's best to check out Tide-forecast.com to make sure you can't get a glimpse of Golden Sand Beach using a typical British cuisine and a selection of beer and wine.
