This beautiful town is one of the best seaside locations to visit this summer. And you're on the train right away from the exciting city that you can add to your trip. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy your stay in the UK, this might be the place for you.

Berwick-upon-Tweed is named by Tourpier as one of the most charming seaside towns in England, and is a train ride just 40 minutes from Edinburgh. There is a town hidden on the northeastern edge of England, just near the Scottish border. It is a quaint, historic area and is loved by visitors.

The town is located at the mouth of the Tweed River, offering breathtaking views of the North Sea.

One must-see location is Spittal Beach, one of the area's most popular beaches.

A Tripadvisor visitor said, “It's a beautiful and quiet beach. There's a parking lot nearby, with a cafe, a small entertainment arcade, a splash park and toilets. It's definitely worth a visit.”

Visitors to Berwick are often fascinated by coastal walks, especially the Raleigh Trail, named after the famous artist LS Raleigh, who frequently painted the town's landscapes.

You can also visit Edinburgh, just 40 minutes away by train. The city is known for its picturesque cobblestone streets and exciting atmosphere.

It's definitely worth a trip to the city where you can explore Edinburgh Castle, walk the royal miles, or visit Holyrood Palace.

While you are there, you can also visit its wide range of museums, climb to Arthur's seat for stunning views, or enjoy shops and meals in the new town.

If you are considering taking a break in the UK this year, Berwick-Upon-Tweed is the ideal place to visit for a relaxing break.
