Airport workers share how to first unload suitcases from the plane | Travel News | Travel

Waiting in the luggage carousel can be quite frustrating on any holiday, especially if the suitcase is one of the last ones away from the plane. Watching others immediately grab their case and leave the airport is just adding to this annoying. However, there is a way that it is much more likely that the suitcase will become one of the first ones taken from the plane.

Some airport workers are advised to check in as late as possible. This means that the luggage is likely to be one of the last bags added to the plane, so it is likely to be removed first when you reach your destination. Thomas Low Cite, author of Quora, said: “We are accused of ramp workers and gate agents at US Regional Airports.

“The bags are always loaded onto the back from the front of the bag cart, so when you check in the last time, the bag will enter your last bag cart, and the last on the aircraft and the first aircraft at your destination.”

Thomas also suggests checking the bag to make sure it is the first one of the planes. He explains:

“The downside of that method is that you will have to bring your bags to the gate via security checkpoints, which means you won't be able to pack liquids or other items that you can't put on your carry-on bag.”

The New York Post shares another way to quickly remove your luggage. Pick up a free “breakable” sticker from airport staff and slam it into your bag.

    The outlet claims:

“But if you're going to tag your luggage, leave out one thing – your address. You know you're not at home, and as a result you can try and rob your property.”
