With summer here, many of us are planning our holidays and planning fun, outdoor activities to enjoy. Plus, there are so many great places to stay in the UK, which is worth exploring and offers a unique experience. This incredible place in Coventry looks like Venice – it's incredible sights, beautiful seas, gondola rides and more.
Combe Abbey is a beautiful 12th century monastery and a four-star hotel with 500 acres of picturesque grounds. It is said to be a 15-minute drive from the heart of Coventry and offers plenty of history, elegance and more. However, even if it's too expensive to stay in a hotel, you can enjoy the property in a unique way for £15 per person.
After content creator Katy Victoria booked two two punting experiences along the Coombe Abbey River along the Coombe Abbey River and along each Coombe Abbey River, the video went viral in a beautiful environment. Katie argued that the lake is “the hidden gem of Coventry” and that the Abbey Punks British punting experience is “the most romantic.” “I couldn't stop smiling all night,” she wrote in Tiktok.
As locals, Katie and her partner couldn't believe they had never heard of their experience before. Katie said: “It felt like we were in a film! Honestly, we needed to know that it was on our front door step for us, and we didn't know anything about it until a friend shared it on Instagram.”
“I can't fully express how amazing it really is. I promise you won't be disappointed,” she added.
The Abbey's punting experience is a 35-minute punt in the moat around Combe Abbey, and can accommodate up to six people. Children can ride for free, and adults start at £30 for two people. The ride takes about 35 minutes.
“It's a great way to encapsulate the wildlife wonders of the park, the interesting history of Coomb and the medieval monasteries from historic moats to gatehouses,” says Abby Pants. You can also wear a panting hat if you like.
Katie said: “Whether you want to show up on a suggestion, date night or in the park in a day, he will be very flexible. In most cases, no reservations are required, so just go to the hotel reception and you can find his Whatsapp on his Whatsapp on his Whatsapp.
Katie summed up: “We honestly didn't know what to expect at first, but I'll tell you one of the most unique experiences I've ever had. We'll definitely be back.”
The shocked person commented on Katie's video and said, “Wait! Did I come from Coventry? What is this? Since when?” “I called and I was from COV and didn't know about this.
Another commented: “I never thought I could do this in Coomb! I'm literally 20 minutes from us, definitely on my list right now!”
Another shared special memories, “I had one of the first weddings he had (tomorrow's anniversary). It was very special to use in the evening. “I stayed here a few years ago. I would like to go back and do it now!”
