The World Travel Award (WTA) is set to host the 2025 African and Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony in Tanzania's fascinating country. The region's travel industry leaders will meet at the VIP reception at Johari Rotana Dar es Salaam on June 28th, 2025.

The World Travel Award is the most prestigious award program in the travel industry and rewards leaders in the tourism, airlines, hotels and hospitality sectors around the world.
The ceremony marks the start of WTA's Grand Tour 2025, which includes regional events in Cancun (Mexico), St. Lucia, Hong Kong, Sardinia (Italy) and Dubai (UAE), culminating in the Bahrain Grand Final.

The Gala Ceremony promises to be the region's best travel event this year. Official host venue, Johari Rotana Dar Es Salaam, enjoys a major location in the central business district overlooking the Indian Ocean. Part of the landmark MNF Square development, the five-star hotel is close to ports, financial districts, beaches and other important attractions in Tanzania's vibrant capital.
