“Dr. Mos conveyed Qatar's solidarity with India and zero-tolerance policies against terrorism against regional stability and prosperity,” he said in a separate post.
On Sunday (May 25, 2025) the delegation met with the vice-chairman of Qatar Shura Council, Dr Hamda Al-Slayti and other Qatari lawmakers, and reported the rage of the Indian people on April 22, 2025, on the attack on Pahargam, which killed 26 people.
The delegation emphasized that the visit reflects India's unified stance on cross-border terrorism.
Apart from Sule, a worker of the NCP-SP, the delegation is the BJP leaders Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Anurag Thakur, V. Muraleedharan, Congress leaders Manish Tewari and Anand Sharma, TDP leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu, Aap Leader vikramjeet singhney and diprad and diprad singhed as and bikramjeet
He also travels to South Africa, Ethiopia and Egypt.
Qatar is believed to have influence in the West Asia region and serves as a mediator in regional conflicts.
The Sule-led group travels to South Africa, which holds the current G-20 presidency, and heads to Ethiopia, which is also home to the African Union. The delegation will visit Egypt, an influential country of the Arab world.
The delegation is one of seven multi-party delegations where India visits 33 global capitals to reach out to the international community to highlight the link to Pakistan's terrorism and argue that the recent conflict has been triggered by the Pahargam terrorist strike and that it is not an operation of Sindoah as Islamabad is the suspect.
Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after the Pahargam terrorist attacks, with India carrying out a precise attack on the terrorist infrastructure in Kashmir, occupied by Pakistan and Pakistan, early on May 7, 2025.
Pakistan attempted to attack Indian military bases on May 8th, 9th and 10th. India responded strongly to Pakistan's actions.
The hostility on the ground ended with the understanding that military action would be stopped following a meeting with the military operations chiefs on May 10, 2025.
