    It's time to put out these calendars and plan out some of the hottest winter events on the KZN South Coast! The award-winning The Pack Shed Restaurant in Serenity Hills in Margate, an eco-centric real estate, has announced an incredible lineup of quality events within this coastal setting.

    “Our extremely popular Sweetdale Night Market is back with excellent food and drinks from the cold of the winter,” commented Serenity Hills Estate Manager Ryne Ferguson. “The Packshed Restaurant also hosts great wine and food, live music, as well as a gorgeous Father's Day special. With space limited for these winter events, people are encouraged to book early.”

    1. Sweetdale Night Market

    Friday, May 30th | Friday, June 27th (last Friday of every month)

    Time: 6pm to 10pm

    Cost: Free entry

    Sweetdale Night Market is a fun night out event for the whole family. Visitors can enjoy a night of live music, fresh farm products, unique food stalls, delicious drinks and other amazing artisan stands selling handmade products. This is a pet-friendly event with weather resistant and backup power that allows you to enter completely free!

    2. Love and lawlessness

    Saturday, May 31st

    Time: Starting at 6pm

    Cost: R300 per person (tickets are sold out)

    This is a night of whiskey, Wild Tales and Songs with the incredible duo of Barbie Meyer and Wayneco Fran, hosted by the Sherry Beach Lions Club. Entry tickets include a welcome drink, the gourmet “Wild West Burger” with home cut tips, and even an incredible show. Vegetarian options – you will be notified when you book. Reservations are essential!

    3. DoolhofWine & Dine

    Friday, June 6th

    Time: 6:30pm

    Cost: R495 per person

    Packshed Restaurant is excited to announce Wine & Dine Evening in collaboration with Doolhof Wine Estate. They offer a finely detailed five-course set menu paired with exclusive wines from Doolhof!

    4. Father's Day Harvest Menu

    Sunday, June 15th

    Enjoy a Father's Day feast from a hearty menu, using only fresh ingredients from local harvest producers at Packshed.

    Starter: Vegetable Spring Rolls (R75)

    Main: Beef fillet “Whiskey” Stroganoff and homemade “Spätzli” (R215)

    Dessert: Swiss Chocolate Fondant (R85)

    5. Sweet Gang & Friends Farm Stall

    Wednesday to Sunday

    Serenity Hills also has a must-see sweet gang and friends farm stall. This is a cozy and dynamic hub that offers an impressive selection of delicious food and handmade treasures. The farm stall adjacent to the Pack Shed Restaurant is “local supporters of the locals” with fresh ingredients such as fresh butter, eggs and baked goods. In addition to providing great food and drinks, the farm stalls offer a variety of products, including art, crafts, gifts, clothing, and more, with a focus on collaboration with local businesses.
