In addition to Universal Parks and Disney Parks, Epcot is one of the most famous theme parks in the world. Located within Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Epcot specializes in emphasising science, nature and global culture. However, the most well-known part of the park is the various regions that showcase the cultures of different countries.
However, visiting the park can be expensive when people get unhappy, especially when counting prices that they have to travel from the UK to Orlando.
Now known online as Travel Mum, a mother named Jen, takes her to social media and shares a cheaper alternative to Epcot, which is located in Europe.
Joining the social media app Tiktok, Jen shared a video of her family, including her husband Joan and their two sons, Leo and Luka.
“This theme park has beaten Disney and Universal and won the best theme park in the world nine times. Let's check it out,” Jen said at the start of the video.
Jen highlighted the similarities with Epcot's popular cultural discipline, where each part emphasizes the architecture and culture of various countries around the world, and noted that Europe Park has a similar theme.
“The theme is incredible and is based on different countries in Europe. They even have UK pubs and beer gardens,” she said, showing clips from within the park.
Regarding the various rides and roller coasters, “The queue times are absolutely amazing, and many small rides have a one-minute queue, which is perfect for kids who like to ride again and again.”
She continued: “The roller coasters here are amazing, and many of them have single rider lines, virtual cues, or baby switches. The park is great for thrill seekers, but at the same time, it caters to a lot of small things for what they do and the interactive elements.”
“If that's not enough, they even have the most incredible shows,” she added.
Regarding accommodation, Jen wrote in the caption of the video that they chose to stay in the camper they parked at the campsite in Europe Park.
This meant they were within walking distance to the theme park and on a short, free shuttle bus that escaped a nearby water park called Rulantica.
So how much does it cost to visit Europe Park?
“You can get tickets to the two-day park starting at just £83 or get tickets to the theme park and water park for just £68,” Jen explained. “This place is of great value and will definitely be coming back soon somewhere.”
People immediately took me to the comments section of the video and said many were sure they would book a vacation at the theme park.
“I went to European Parks when I was seven, and I still remember that… I remember the time of my life,” one viewer said.
Epcot in Florida may be just as fun, but this is definitely a great alternative for those worried about their budget.
