Air France and Canal+ have announced an unprecedented new partnership. Starting May 1, 2025, the airline will provide privileged access to a selection of Canal+ programs on all long-haul flights. Customers will soon be able to travel to the Canal+ Creation Originale series, must-see programs, comedy shows, documentaries and children's shows. All this content enhances Air France entertainment offers. This includes a number of films.

By partnering with Canal+, the French leader in audiovisual creation, Air France continues to promote French savoir fairs around the world. This is a strong commitment on the part of Air France, dedicating 30% of its entertainment offers to French productions to choose films and television series.

Soon, Air France customers can enjoy episodes of the Original Les series of recent or iconic Canal + Creation during flight, including embers, money, blood, Versailles. Flagship shows such as En apartments such as Laura Felpin and Roman Freisinet and comedy shows will also be available. A fascinating documentary on travel, discovery, sports and children's content will close out the various shows on offer. Starting in June 2025, selection will be enhanced with Canal+ Africa content, including the Niabla series and the documentary series Enquête D'Afrique.

In total, around 100 canal+ programs will be available at launch in French, adapting for deaf and hearing impairment. This selection is updated with 20 new programs each month.

“We are proud to be able to present our Canal+ program on our flight. They are renowned all over the world for their creativity. We are confident that they will appeal to our customers and promote French culture.

“We are delighted with this unique partnership, which will allow Air France passengers to enjoy an exclusive entertainment experience on long haul flights. We are particularly honored to help Air France choose Canal+ to create its first and only dedicated media space and strengthen its commitment to promoting French.

Entertainment in flight for over 1,500 hours

All Air France long-haul cabins allow customers to access large, high-resolution screens that offer over 1,500 hours of on-demand entertainment. In the latest cabins, the anti-glare screen offers 4K quality and is equipped with a Bluetooth connection to connect personal headphones and earphones. Additionally, the airline will gradually deploy a new touch-sensitive graphics interface on 38,000 screens, available in 12 languages, making it easier for passengers to choose the program.

Carefully selected Air France film choices are suitable for everyone's preferences and culture, and are available in the original version or in several different languages. The airline offers films in over 310 genres, from the most classics to the latest French films, to the world films and the biggest blockbusters in America. It also offers series, reports, documentaries, music, podcasts, destination guides and children's programs. There are also sections dedicated to happiness. There, both the elderly and the elderly can try their hand at meditation and seated yoga while traveling. Finally, interactive maps and onboard cameras allow users to follow the flight path and watch takeoff and landing from their seats.
