Travel warnings have been issued in the popular Spanish Holiday Hotspot Alert as millions of Britons prepare for their summer vacation to Spain. When traveling abroad, it is important to be aware of potential risks and risks.
And Spain's Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency issued an alarm on Friday morning about a destination favored by many British tourists. Spain's Protección Civil states in X:
Authorities have since made three recommendations to tourists and others currently in Alicante. Anyone who “needs to travel” says, “Preferably use highways and double driveways, do not cross flooded areas by foot or by vehicle, and do not leave rivers, streams or low areas.”
The announcement brought a “big danger” alert earlier this month following severe weather matches across Spain, including heavy rain, hail storms and lightning. Thankfully, the Met Office expects clear skies and dry conditions to return to Alicante from Saturday, May 24th.
Tourists in Alicante can expect to soak up to 30c temperatures next week, but in Malaga, which is also popular with many UK visitors, Mercury is expected to reach 33c. Barcelona offers a mild climate with a peak of 24C expected.
