Chairman Gervais Koffi Djondo, founder of Ecobank & Asky, has been praised by the Millennium Excellence Foundation for the prestigious Lifetime Africa Achievement Prize, Afrablanking and Aviation Excellence in Africa Excellence.
The 2025 Millennium Excellence Award, Otumhuo Oseituti II, held under the prominent auspices of Asantehene, was held at Manhia Palace in Kumasi.
The event brought together renowned business leaders and various respected high-ranking officials to honor the community and individuals who have made a huge contribution.

In his acceptance speech, Chairman Johndo expressed his deep gratitude for this recognition, saying, “This award is not merely a personal honor. It is a testament to the collective efforts of all peoples tirelessly to promote the sustainable development of African Ecobank and Aski and Aski.
Chairman Johndo highlighted the importance of collaboration and innovation in addressing the challenges facing Africa today. He called on leaders, entrepreneurs and young people to unite their efforts to harness the vast potential of the continent. “We must invest in people, resources, ideas. The future of Africa depends on our ability to work together and support each other,” he added.
