The Benidorm Hotel was named “Best of the Best” by users of the TripAdvisor portal. The famous Spanish party resort is one of the most popular among holiday British people looking for sun and fun.
Last year, more than 600,000 British holiday makers hit resorts. Resort Mayor Toni Perez said the city is enjoying a “exponential increase” of visitors from the UK. The city is estimated to have around 138 hotels, most of which are three or four stars. One of them was Hotel Voramar, which was named “Best Hotel in Spain in 2024” by TripAdvisor users.
The four-star facility celebrates 60 years of business after opening its doors on April 9, 1965.
The hotel's centre is one of its greatest attractions, within walking distance of the beach, old town, restaurants and bars. The marina is also nearby.
Plus, there's live music every night, and DJs play the set and provide a lively atmosphere to help people get into the party's ditch.
The hotel said in a statement that it was awarded: “To receive this award on the 60th anniversary is a tribute and respect for all the people, founders, workers, customers and collaborators who are part of Volama's history.”
The hotel has received 1,420 reviews on the TripAdvisor platform, with 1,221 people rated as superior.
