Asharami Synergy, a downstream company in the Sahara Group and a leading supplier of Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK), has reiterated its commitment to driving innovation, building strong partnerships and providing service excellence to enhance operational efficiency, safety and sustainability of Nigeria's aviation sector.
At the 2025 Air Customer Forum in Lagos, the company's CEO Nomunso Dyk said the forum reflects the company's strategic focus on customer-centric value delivery through joint engagement and operational excellence.
Dike said: “This forum is more than a touchpoint. It provides customers and partners with a platform to share feedback that discusses the critical developments of the market and ultimately provides the pursuit of bespoke, high quality service for the benefit of their valued clients.”
Dike describes Asharami as Nigeria's most important aviation fuel supplier, supported by its robust storage infrastructure, automated terminals, digital fuel systems, and ISO certified operations across quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
Theme: “Customer-centered refueling: Meet the evolving needs of airlines” forum brought together both local and international aviation stakeholders to explore industry trends, operational hurdles, and areas for deeper collaboration.
Emphasizing the importance of the discussion, Dike added: “The conversations we hold here are essential. They provide direct insight into your pain points, expectations and areas where our services meet or go beyond your needs.
With Nigeria's aviation sector dealing with over 16 million passengers each year, Asharami noted that the forum is part of a broader strategy to ensure reliable and efficient fuel supply logistics to meet growing demand.
Delta Air Lines Representative Salami Omeiza praised the fuel distribution technology, particularly the company's introduction of high-flow bappers and transparent fuel systems.
United Airlines Adeola Babalola said: “Even in strange times, teams remain accessible, and that level of reliability is important to us.
Peter Ogunsanmi, president of Arik Air, said: “The partnership with Asharami goes beyond fuel supply. It includes strategic support. I remember the pivotal role the team played during the important transition.
Similarly, Qatari freight Temitope Aderogba praised Asharami's digital receipts and the development of automated processes, describing them as “benchmarks for others in the sector.”
Foluso Sobanjo, head of Downstream Africa at Sahara Group, said the forum has produced valuable feedback that is essential to maintaining the company's industry leadership.

“We are always welcomed and deeply grateful for your continued trust in Asharami. At the Sahara Group, innovation is not just a feature, it is an operating system. We reinforce our commitment to promote long-term value and provide responsibly energy solutions, tailoring to the expectations of our stakeholders.”
Adekanmi Adesola, Chief Operating Officer of Asharami Synergy, highlighted the role of honest dialogue in improving operations strategies. “Strong partnerships and candid conversations are the fuel behind true efficiency. We appreciate your feedback and it guides every move we can.”
