This African country is “better and cheaper” than Turkey, Spain and Portugal – 3 Reasons | World | News

British people are always keen to get as much as they can for their own money when they take the necessary breaks abroad. Popular foreign destinations that have emerged over the past few decades are in Europe, including Spain, Portugal and Türkiye. However, one traveler suggests that one beautiful country in the Mediterranean region of Africa is cheaper and better than these often visited places. Egypt has been welcomed by Tiktok's agnew_travels as “now a place for holidays” and is “far cheaper” than Spain and Portugal.

In a video posted earlier this month, he said: “Reason 1 is people. That's probably the most important. The Turkish people didn't leave you alone. They constantly nagged and constantly pressured them to buy things.

“A lovely place, don't get me wrong, but the people there will ruin it.”

He added: “The second reason is the food. The quality of the food in Turkish is not at standard, especially based on the pricing that people are charging at all inclusive hotels.”

This feedback Tiktoker received from some people he knows recently told him that their grabs were “not up to standard.”

“In Egypt, I have never had any problems with food and it's much cheaper,” he added.

Finally, the third reason Agnew_Travels quoted is “the most important” and “the price of things.”

“It's much cheaper than turkey. It's very cheap. Turkey is priced, pleasing, eating out, drinking, and everything is very expensive in Türkiye.

“Egypt, it's very, very manageable and very cost-effective.”

But some viewers disagreed with what he had to say, and one said, “Did you really say Egyptian food is better than Turkey? Now I've seen it all.”

Another account said, “Are you kidding? I couldn't walk two meters through Shahm El Sheikh.

“Well, it was worse than Antarya, and the food was also worse.”

Spain and Potugal still go to British tourist locations, and kayak lists “most searched destinations this summer” Faro, Malaga, Alicante and Barcelona.
