Television Celebrity Untheaterner is set to celebrate its 65th birthday this May, enjoying a fantastic trip to Tanzania.
Travelling with her fiance, Mark Armstrong, she visits Lemara Hamerkop House (Arusha), Lemara Mpingkoridge in Tarangia, Craters Edge Lodge in Wilderness Collection, Nugorongoro and Bushtops Serengeti.
From here, Ancia is treated to a scenic helicopter flight over Mount Mel and Kilimanjaro in tropics before heading to the stunning Bawe Islands in the Zanzibar Islands. All ground arrangements are coordinated with Green Inspirations DMC.
As Anthea explained, “From the day I introduced the TV travel show, I was lucky enough to travel far and wide across the world, but there was only one place I wanted to spend this big birthday. It was Tanzania!”
The entire trip will be shared with Ancia's 300,000 social media followers, which will be handled in daily updates via a short video of tips on maintaining skin, hair, body and general well-being (particularly activities and accommodations) under the African sun.
Additionally, numerous long travel videos will be created for use in targeted online campaigns by Tanzania Tourism UK.
“With a very loyal and extremely enthusiastic viewer of more than 45 mostly wealthy women in Ancia, she is able to communicate directly with this important demographic on behalf of Tanzania,” said Tim Henshall, head of tourism marketing.
