The importance of promoting innovation among African investors and encouraging links for African investors towards regional development has recently been repeated by experts in Lagos.
Experts explained that its importance within and with Africa is important to promote the continent's prosperity, along with other business stakeholders who recently gathered to celebrate the second anniversary of Vivajets in Lagos.
Chukwuerika Achum, CEO of Seaking, Vivajets' parent company Falcon Aerospace Limited, said the two-year business company is pulling out all stops to achieve its corporate core goal of democratizing access to civil aviation and solving business connectivity issues in Africa.
Looking back at the company's progress so far, Achum pointed to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) award of Vivajets' Aviation Operator Certificate (AOC) and the expansion of global routes and international cooperation.
“Our story shows the transformational power of business aviation to improve connectivity and innovation across Africa. We believe that Africa's prosperity lies within and with the continent,” he said.
He also repeatedly carried out the need for accessible and efficient civil aviation in Africa and continued efforts to drive this through investments in technology and international forums, including the World Economic Forum WEF.
In his remarks, acting director of the NCAA, Captain Chris Najomo said the company's shortest-term progress testifies to its resilience, vision and commitment to success.
The event also marked the seal of a partnership agreement between Falcon Aero and liquor brand Glenfidditch as the official liquor.
Commenting further, Tejumade Salami, COO of Vivalget, said, “This is to celebrate what is possible when passion achieves its purpose. Our journey is built on the shoulders of an extraordinary team, expanding even greater heights towards the future, committing to excellence, innovation, innovation and shaping of civil aviation in Africa.
Some of the highlights of the event featured the company's international travel and lifestyle magazine presentations and newly designed cabin crew outfits created in collaboration with popular designer Loza Maneombho.
