The Crocworld Conservation Center experience was enhanced by the launch of an interactive ranger guidebook sponsored by Wilded (Conservation Education) in collaboration with Wild Alliance Africa (an NPO dedicated to conserving global biodiversity).

This fun and user-friendly booklet is a great Croccoword souvenir that has been around for a long time since many educational enrichment activities focused on iconic and indigenous animals and flora found in Clock World. “The Ranger Guide was a way to provide real value to young people when visiting the park. It provides additional information and activities to do at Clock World, and deepens knowledge and experience beyond the visit!” says Russel Symcox, founder of Wild Alliance Africa.

He says many benefits of this fascinating book are reconnecting children with the natural world, encouraging learning in fun and exciting ways, engraving creatures while sprinting around the park. Designed and created by our supportive partner, Kayliegh Haysmen of Wild Kids Books. With opinions from Crocworld experts and conservationists, Ranger Guide features maps, finding residents' Crocworld Creatures, nature scavenger hunts, fun facts and more. Each booklet, available only at the Crocworld Curio Shop, costs R85 and is used to fund education initiatives run by Wilded Learner Hub.

For more information about Crocworld, visit the Crocworld Conservation Center on www.crocworld.co.za, or call the Crocworld Conservation Center on Facebook or call 039 976 1103.
