South Africa's defense and aviation industry and other international stakeholders gathered to showcase the best innovation and technology in the defense industry in Pretoria's Air Force Mobile Deployment Division.
The airshow features breathtakingly diverse aerial displays and aerobatics.
“The aircraft we used in our retirement flights will bring here to ensure that we understand our history as the Air Force,” said Major General Lancelot Matebra, deputy chief of the South African Air Force.
Mathebula says he is working to build aviation awareness at schools to boost his career in the Air Force.
“We have the Youth Development Program and the Ministry of Basic Education. This will involve approximately 25 schools visiting. There will be a joint training awareness program that will visit high schools, including primary schools.”
