Hotel and Hospitality Expo Africa will be held for the first time in Cape Town and mark the 8th edition at Cape Town International Convention Centre from June 11-12, 2025. The expo, held by the DMG event, is the latest momentum driven by an increase in “bleisure” travel and increased international connectivity. The forecast from the Statista Project will reach $33.54 billion by 2029, with the hotel making up almost half its value.
The 2025 event will attract more than 4,000 visitors and more than 150 exhibitors, including key decision makers across the sector. Notable additions include the launch of Horeca Connect for hotels, restaurants and catering professionals, as well as the debut of the African Food Show, part of the Global Gall Food Series. A key highlight is the 2025 Africa Hospitality Trust Index Report, which provides insights into industry trends, innovation and investment opportunities. The purpose of this event is to position Cape Town as a strategic hub for hospitality business growth across Africa.
