This tool is particularly useful for students who are unsure whether a subclass 500 visa is appropriate, or whether alternatives such as a training or graduate visa are suitable for post-study planning.
The Document Checklist tool provides a personalized list of documents required for a subclass 500 student visa. Applicants will generate a tailored checklist by entering two important details of the country of passport and education provider or CRICOS code.
The tool also supports professional student visa categories, including:
Students sponsored by the Bureau of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) or Defense
Secondary exchange student
Applicants seeking an extension of their doctoral thesis marking visa
The checklist greatly reduces the risk of rejection due to a lack of documentation or outdated, and is especially useful for first-time applicants.
